Integrated Territorial Synergies for Children Health and Protection ΙΙ - INTERSYC II”: 2nd project meeting held in Sandanski

The second meeting of the Cross-border European Territorial Cooperation project entitled "Integrated Territorial Synergies for Children Health and Protection ΙΙ - INTERSYC II" was held on the 16th of October in Sandanski, Bulgaria. The project is funded by the European Territorial Cooperation Programme “Interreg V-A Greece -Bulgaria” 2014-2020.
Members of the scientific personnel of “The Smile of the Child” as well as representatives of the partner organizations from Greece and Bulgaria: Municipal Development Agency οf Komotini Municipality, Nadja Centre Foundation, Sandanski Branch and Regional Inspectorate of Education – Blagoevgrad and a member of the Joint Secretariat of “Interreg V-A Greece –Bulgaria 2014-2020”, took part in the meeting.
The meeting offered the opportunity to participants to discuss on working sessions related to project’s scope & objectives, on the work packages and the involvement of each partner, the detailed budget and the implementation of the Preventive Medicine Action in Bulgaria planned to kick-off in December 2018.
The project’s communication aspects as well as administrative and financial management issues were also discussed, whereas participants worked together to determine the next steps of implementation.
The project’s duration is 24 months and it aims at protecting and improving the quality of children’s lives at a cross-border level.
