Thanks to the Technology Group for the Child, “The Smile of the Child” is able to carry out its nationwide work in the most optimal and technologically advanced way possible.
The importance that the “Technology Group for the Child” plays in the operation of the Organization is determining and concrete, as it ensures its immediate response to the calls it receives at the four hotlines and helplines of the Organization (National Helpline for Children SOS 1056, European Hotline for Missing Children 116000, European Helpline for Children and Adolescents 116111, National Hotline for Missing Adults 1017) and Chat 1056 for children in immediate danger, who go missing, express suicidal ideation, face serious health problems, need urgent transfer to a hospital, and so many other emergency cases every day, 365 days per year, 24 hours per day.
At the same time, with the infrastructure that the Organization disposes – again thanks to the Group-, it provides integrated services, such as the activation of Amber and Missing Alert Hellas, the “Thanasis Makris” Search and Rescue Team and the implementation of critical programs such as the Pediatric Home Care and so many more.
Finally, the Group, through multiple and thorough audits, provides the Organization with a level of data management security equal to that of its members.
