Our objective for this program is to monitor and record the well-being of children in Greece using variable parameters.

Our organization records and maps the well-being of children at the local and national levels annually. These results form the basis for our policies and assist in designing processes that will further the child’s well-being.

Our goal is to use these results to:

  • more effectively plan actions to eliminate child poverty;
  • develop targeted solutions based on the quantitative, qualitative, and geographical measures that enable us to effectively intervene;
  • communicate the intervention requirements to the individuals or institutions needed to perform the necessary actions.

The website of the National Observatory for Child Well-being (http://www.childrenwelfaresm.com/en ) provides free longitudinal records of child well-being, which can be used for research by local and academic institutions.
