“The Smile of the Child” raises children that have been removed from their families due to abuse or serious neglect. With us, these children find love, security and whatever they need to build a new life.
Our care does not stop at the age of 18. When a child comes of age, our embrace remains open. We continue to be by their side, just as we have been since the first day. Because love does not have an expiration date.

A new beginning for 11 wonderful children

At the end of the school year, 11 of our children are coming of age and are starting a new chapter: studies, military service, work, autonomy. And they need – more than ever – support.

Thanos and his dream

Thanos has grown up in one of the Organization’s homes since he was 4 years old, following severe physical abuse. With the love and care of our team, he has managed to heal, to grow up with dignity, and to dream.

He loves pastry making. Since he was young, he has spent hours in the kitchen at the Home, learning recipes. Now he is getting ready to begin his studies at a Cooking and Pastry School, aiming to open his own pastry shop.

With your support, we can offer him:

• Rent and basic living expenses
• Pocket money, daily necessities
• School fees, study expenses
• Psychological and counseling support
• Whatever a young adult needs to take his first steps

Our goal: 25,000€ to meet the yearly cost of supporting 11 of our young people.
