Kyriakos is the father of two boys, 17 and 10 years of age. He works as a sales clerk and in the evenings he has a second job in a small cafe to make ends meet. The mother of the family works for a telephone sales company.
Rent, daily expenses and Mario's tuition for the Panhellenic exams preparation take up almost the entire family budget. When they turned to our organization asking for help with the preparation books, a more difficult reality was revealed: The children hadn’t visited a pediatrician in four years, as a result of which the little one's vaccines had been left behind. Heating in the house is limited to an air conditioner that, due to the family's finances, cannot remain in operation for more than one hour a day.
And yet, the children continue to dream, to study, to try...
