Standing by Agapi

Agapi came to life just last August. Her father works as a delivery driver and her mother as a seasonal employee in hotels on the island. They were never rich, but they had organized their lives and awaited their baby with dreams.

The little girl was born prematurely with a congenital heart defect. Immediately airlifting her from Crete to a hospital in Attica was the only option. The timely intervention of our experienced rescuers and our fully equipped mobile unit saved her life, offering her the opportunity to be moved with absolute safety and care to a fully equipped neonatal incubator.
