For Katerina, a 4 year old who has been bed-ridden since birth, summer doesn't mean playing, swimming in the sea, or being carefree...she has never seen or been to the sea or walked in the mountains.  Nor has Lambros in his 10 years of life.

Both Katerina and Lambros were born with severe disabilities. While both conditions demonstrate similar characteristics cures for these anomalies have not yet been discovered by the medical communities.  Their families live daily with uncertainties and their sibling live in the shadow of their families’ predicaments.

With your help, together it may be possible for Lambros to breathe naturally and diminish the pain caused by the disproportionate development of his body and organs.  Lambros needs surgery immediately.  While Katerina, still a child yet too large for a toddler’s stroller, cannot walk and needs a specially retrofit stroller that will adequately support her to delay the inevitable surgery.

These children’s needs are not seasonal like a splash in the sea.  Nor should our giving be dictated by seasons.

Will you help us secure the cost of surgery for Lambros and the necessary amount for Katerina's wheelchair?
