While the holiday season is meant to be a joyful time, for many it is a time of great financial challenge and worry. Many parents get the sinking feeling of not knowing how to survive Christmas without letting their children down. For poor families, the fullest meaning of peace and joy is simply not having to worry about how they will provide food, shelter, and heat for their loved ones. While we search for the best recipe, many worry about the empty table. “The Smile of the Child” supports families and their children all over Greece.
