There is nothing more important than a child's life. When a baby comes to life earlier than expected, a lot can happen if it does not immediately have the specialized medical care it needs.
In order to ensure this, many babies need to be taken from the maternity ward they were born in and be transported to a specialized hospital.
"The Smile of the Child" has Mobile Medical Units of intensive care for newborns and children, equipped with incubators. Our MMUs are fully integrated with EKAB (the National Emergency Responce Center) and respond nationwide to transport newborns with one call to 166 or to "Smile".
Thanks to the state-of-the-art technology of our incubators, we can safely and without any risk to its life, transport even a 500 gram premature baby.
