HE Mrs. Sawita Kovind spouse of the President of India and HE Mrs. Sissy Pavlopoulou, spouse of the President of the Hellenic Republic visit “The Smile of the Child”

HE Mrs. Sawita Kovind, spouse of the President of India and HE Mrs. Sissy Pavlopoulou, spouse of the President of the Hellenic Republic visited the premises of the Organization today.
Mr. Costas Yannopoulos, President of the BoD of “The Smile of the Child” welcomed Mrs. Kovind and Pavlopoulou and presented the actions of the Organization, as well as the scientific and field team at the Operational Emergency Center of “The Smile of the Child” where the operations are coordinated in cases of emergency situations and cases of children at immediate risk.
During the visit, they also had the opportunity to visit one the Mobile Medical Units of Intensive Care for children and newborns as well as the European Student Volunteer Network of Yousmile.
The President of India expressed her impression for the wide-spectrum of actions of the Organization for the benefit of all children and thanked the Organization for the warm welcome.
Children of “The Smile of the Child” drew two beautiful canvases that they offered as gifts to Mrs. Kovind and Pavlopoulou as a gesture of honor and pleasure to the two First Ladies for their visit at “The Smile of the Child”.
