Second transnational meeting of the project "VR not bullies, Virtual reality as a tool for countering bullying amongst youth"

 

In the framework of the project entitled "VR not bullies, Virtual reality as a tool for countering bullying amongst youth" it took place on Monday and Tuesday (3-4/3/2019) in Croatia, the 2nd transnational meeting of the project partners. The project is co-funded by the European Union's program “Erasmus +”.

 

The aim of the transnational meeting was to plan the implementation of the next project activities that concerns:

1. The final steps for the completion of a comprehensive study about best anti-bullying practices with use of ICT.
2. The preparation of scenarios for the development of an innovative tool for countering bullying with the use of Virtual Reality technology.
3. Organization of workshops for the train of trainers on the tool (VR game – manual) that will be developed with the use of virtual reality technology.

 

The meeting was coordinated by Mrs Eva Jurkovic from the organization “SIRIUS” (Croatia), which is the coordinator of the project. Representatives from LIEPU – LIEPAJAS UNIVERSITATE (Latvia), The Smile of the Child (Greece) and SEC – Fundatia Centrul Educational Spektrum (Romania) took part in the meeting.

 

The next transnational meeting is scheduled in October of 2019 in Latvia.
