18th African Food, Music and Handicrafts Festival

8 & 9 June 2019

The Embassies and Honorary Consulates of African countries in Greece invite you to the 18th African Food, Music and Handicrafts Festival that will be held on the 8th and 9th of June 2019 at the outdoor venue of Galatsi Olympic Hall

(137 Veikou Avenue, 111 46, Galatsi)

 

Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Libya, Madagascar, Morocco, Burundi, Nigeria, Senegal, Seychelles, South Africa, Sudan, Tunisia, Zambia, Zimbabwe are the participating countries and will give the opportunity to the visitors of the Festival to get acquainted with the national customs and culture of African countries, their local traditional dresses, music and dance. Folk art items, costumes and traditional dishes and drinks will be sold at the festival kiosks.

Part of the proceeds of the 18th African Food, Music and Handicrafts Festival will be dedicated to the purposes of “The Smile of the Child” and its actions for children.

The Festival takes places with the support of the Municipality of Galatsi.

Saturday, 8 June 2019: from 10:00 to 22:00

Sunday, 9 June 2019: from 10:00 to 19:00

Adults: 3€

For below 10 years of age: Free entrance
