Our community home in Aigio
Our Community home in Temeni of the Municipality of Aigio was kindly donated by
Mrs Isabella Arvanitis, in honour of the memory of her parents Nikolaos and
Anneta Arvanitis and her origins. She brought into reality a modern and well-equipped
block of residences with the capacity to provide shelter, care and protection
for children that are victims to any form of violence.
The community home opened its doors in 2013.
Today 36 children, aged 2-18 years, are growing up in the community home.
Beside the children there is a specialized team, in total 30 people, which
consist of 21 pedagogues, one teacher, two drivers, one nurse, one cook, two
social workers, one cleaner and one assistant nurse.
