When you have a child with a health problem, the expenses are endless and the emotional pain is unbearable. Imagine the desperation of a parent living on an island, where doctors are scarce as are the funds to travel to mainland.

Just one phone call to “The Smile of the Child” helped us to endure and maneuver the support we needed for our baby’s illness in the hospitals and with the doctors. We were treated with dignity by all that assisted us with sensitivity and sincerity. These are the statements of mothers who reached out to the organization to find a solution and to obtain relief for their child. We are thankful that we had the support of all of you in 2023 to be able to support these mothers and 11,119 children who were facing a health problem.

Daily, families turn to our organization to provide clinical, social or economic support for specialized surgeries, radiotherapy, additional limbs, vaccinations, or transport of newborns & children. We, in turn, need your valuable support to consistently be there for these families in need. Will you help us provide all children in every corner of Greece receive the medical services they desperately need?
