Medical equipment for George

George, a boy just 3 years old, is part of a four-member family. During the first months of his life, he started having a decease that is not so rare in the present, however very hard to diagnose during the prenatal tests. His family had the characteristics of a common Greek family, who whatsoever broke down due to George’s problem. His mother cannot work anymore, and his father cannot cope with the present increased cost of living. George cannot stand on his own without a baby walker, cannot breathe without a mechanical breathing support in addition of being in need on a weekly basis of ambulance transfer to and from the Athenian hospitals to receive specialized treatment.
