Children from Greece and Latvia exchange paintings, cultures and smiles
In the framework of the “Recreational Activities at Children’s Hospitals” action of “The Smile of the Child” and in cooperation with the Embassy of Latvia to Greece, hospitalized children from Thessaloniki and Athens drew paintings for hospitalized children in Latvia.
Children at hospitals in Greece had the opportunity to get acquainted with the country and culture of Latvia as well as draw images from their country inspired by the Greek sun and sea, the Greek SUMMER!
Subsequently, an event was held on the 13rd of June at the Embassy of Latvia giving the opportunity to the young kids from Greece and Latvia to showcase their creations during a small exhibition hosted at the premises of the Embassy.
We wholeheartedly wish a speedy recovery to all children in both countries and we promise that we will continue to stand by them by ensuring a pleasant time and environment for them as long as they stay at the hospital.
We would also like to thank the Embassy of Latvia in Greece for this excellent6 initiative and cooperation.
