Partner in the project “Nothilfe für Flüchtline und Asylsuchende in Serbien und Griechenland” with financial support by the German Government/ Foreign Office in Berlin (under the German Humanitarian Assistance fund) (2016)

The project «Emergency aid for refugees and asylum seekers in Serbia and Greece» has an 8 month duration and aims to provide services to refugees and asylum seekers in Greece in the framework of humanitarian aid. The project is financed from the German Government/ Foreign Office in Berlin. Leader is the Help - Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. and partners are Greek Council for Refugees and Antigone - Information and Documentation Center on Racism, Ecology, Peace and Non Violence.

The project’s activities include:

To improve the health conditions of refugee children that live in the camps of Attiki, Thessaloniki, Kilkis etc. by providing timely access to hospitals
To provide relief aid to 2.300 children (unaccompanied and with families) in Attica and 4.800 children in Thessaloniki.
To provide social counselling for refugee families
To raise awareness of the society of the refugee crisis
